Well, good news - the club fair went really well! We got over... 47 SIGNUPS?!?! And that's not even counting the ppl that had already joined! Geez, that's a bit nerve-wracking. No pressure or anything.
Anyways, I ended up leaving the film set I was supposed to be boom-micing for because I was so exhausted, and I'm taking the rest of the weekend off. It's definitely needed- I've slept in until 12 TWICE now. That usually leaves me kinda groggy for the rest of the day though, so suffice it to say that I will NOT be doing that tommorow.
Other than that, nothing super exciting has happened. I got my partner to start Utena though, which is really cool! ꒰⌗´͈ ᵕ ॣ`͈⌗৩ Ikuhara (the guy who made the show) is probably my favorite director of anything of all time, and even though Utena is probably my second least favorite thing he's done (it's ranked Sarazanmai, Utena, Penguindrum, Yurikuma, but Saraznamai and Utena are neck and neck, but the gap between Utena and Penguindrum is much wider) it still means a lot to me, and it's also an anime I think everybody should watch at least once even if they don't like it just due to how influential and important it is to animation at large. It's like Evangelion in that way.
I should make a page where I just drop my anime reviews. That'd be fun!
I'm also trying to figure out how to get the other pages on this website up and running. Everytime I do, it downloads the page as a file instead of simply being a website link. UGH. It's so annoying. (●⌇ຶ ཅ⌇ຶ●) Still, this kinda technical stuff is really fun to me, so I'm gonna do my best to figure it out.

That's about all from me, but at one point, my partner said that the songs from Utena would go really hard if they were thrash metal, and now I want to see a reimagining of all the insert songs in Utena as thrash metal songs. Someone should really get on that.

thinking about marble hornets again
This is my silly blog for my general thoughts! Social media blows these days, so I'm just gonna be here, doing my own thing.
Anyways, SUPER overbooked myself this weekend - I've got a club fair booth I'm running by myself, and then I have to do boom-mic on someone's set for the whole weekend. Ugh. Still not entirely sure why I agreed to do this in ths first place, but I don't wanna be a jerk and back out now. I used to be a film student, so I know how hard getting a set up and running is. I won't let you down!ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
Man though, it's weird to be blogging online. I remember I made a website in the fourth grade using Weebly, and that was a BLAST. Back when the internet hadn't been invaded by uhhh... I don't wanna say 'normies' because that's a dumb term... basic people? No, that's also stupid. I definetly don't wanna come off as pretentious. I guess people who don't understand online ediquette and make everything really hostile and unfun for people. Mainstream fandom spaces have definetly sorta been ruined by keyboard warriors who are obsessed with purity and being correct all the time. It's kind of exhausting. (˵¯͒〰¯͒ ˵)

Not to be a griper, though, there's plenty of things that are good to recognize are bad. (bit of a tongue twister LOL)
